After being sent to the ER, I was given an RX for a starter pack for the medication that was prescribed. Turns out that because of Covid, all the area Pharmacies were out of this specific medication. I was able to get an appointment with a young DR who serves on the same team with my primary DR. Because I have no medical history to indicate why I would even have the blood clot, he is sending me to see a specialist at the U of M Hospital for testing and further treatment. Before I left the medical building, I was given a new RX for the same medication, just not as a starter kit. So I started taking the medication Friday evening.
The Lord was watching out for me all day, making it possible for me to get the help and care I needed. l feel fine. The leg does not hurt. I was just advised not to drive long distance the first few days after starting the medication. The prolonged sitting would not be good.
Thanks to Mr. C and Pastor Wes for covering for me over the weekend. Unless I end up with an appointment with the specialist, I plan to be at the Wednesday evening service this week and back at St. Michael's over the weekend.
My thanks to all of your for your concerns, emails and prayers.
