Soon afterward Jesus began a tour of the nearby towns and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him, 2 along with some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases. Among them were Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons; 3 Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s business manager; Susanna; and many others who were contributing from their own resources to support Jesus and his disciples. (Luke 8:1-3 NLT)
No thanks to the so called Gnostic Gospels that are not Gospels, were not written by any of the Apostles, and were written at a later date and distorted the Gospel message. They tell people a false and distorted story about Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Jesus and Mary Magdalene were never married, they never had sexual relationships, they never had a child. This idea is an anti-Christian lie that continues to be spread today.
Mary Magdelene, Joanna, Susanna and other women contributed to and supported Jesus' ministry. Women still contribute too and support the ministry of the Christian Church. Thank God for all the women who do so many things vital to the mission and the ministry of the Christian Church.
